Sports Edutainment: Where Learning Meets the Game
At the intersection of sports, education, and entertainment lies a powerful movement: Sports Edutainment. This innovative approach transforms the way children learn by using the universal language of sports to teach essential life lessons. At the forefront of this exciting movement is Marnie Schneider, a trailblazer blending her love of sports and storytelling to inspire, educate, and entertain young minds.
Through her beloved children's book series, Football Freddie & Fumble the Dog: Gameday In The USA, Marnie is redefining how kids learn about teamwork, geography, history, and more—all through the lens of sports! By capturing the excitement of game day and the pride of different cities, she creates an immersive experience that fosters a lifelong love for sports and learning.
More Than Just Books—A Lifelong Passion for Sports & Giving Back
Marnie isn’t just teaching lessons; she’s creating fans for life. Her journey is deeply rooted in football. As the granddaughter of Leonard Tose, the former owner of the Philadelphia Eagles and a founder of Ronald McDonald House Charities, and the daughter of Susan Tose Spencer, the first female GM of an NFL team, Marnie grew up immersed in the game. Now, she carries on their legacy by inspiring the next generation through sports and literacy.
A Multi-Faceted Leader & Advocate
Beyond her work as an author, Marnie is the CEO of a startup lifestyle company, a dynamic speaker, philanthropist, dog rescuer, and, most importantly, a dedicated daughter and mom. She is also a certified happiness life coach, using her platform to empower others and promote positivity. A Philadelphia native now living in the Carolinas, she devotes her time and resources to giving back and making a difference.
Marnie’s mission is simple: to inspire young minds, cultivate a love for learning, and celebrate the joy of sports. As Marnie puts it, "Sports have an incredible way of bringing people together. Through my books, I hope to ignite a passion for learning and teamwork in every child who reads them."
Because when education and entertainment come together, the possibilities are endless!
And as they say in sports ———-XOXO
